MACHINES & LOLLIPOPS
FOR WHO?
For people with experience in juggling, level medium/advance. For people without experience in applied fitness or atomic energy. For those interested in losing and finding oneself through improvisation in a world of lollipops and machines. For people with a desire to play, to break the mould, and to put the pieces back together.
Faseqiatra propose a work based in the way to found the expression trough the objects, bodies and juggling in a union to expand the limits of our own technique
POINTS OF DEVELOPMENT DURING THE WORKSHOP
Body - object relationship
Engines of movement that allow us to expand the range of possibilities to be bewildered, frustrated, and to grow.
What are we playing with, when we play?
Identify where each person's proposed game is, where the rules are, reintroduce them, broaden them, learn how to play.
Brand one's own technique
Everyone has the possibility to create their own technique, its a matter of identifying it and trusting the road that only you can build
On the basis of each individual participant, we look to start with technique in order to improve and deepen each person's personal proposal.
The Scene and the imaginary ghosts
Develop the Imaginary using the game within a scene
The essence of presence
Scene juggling and the world apart
The "bad," we call them mistakes, as the road
What is an accident? Who decides, us or the object? What is a mistake?
When we have acquired a technique we then must forget everything we have learned, we need to let these simple phrases be transformed into our own language.
Mistakes are a point of departure for a new place, to discovery, an invitation to change course, to improvise. Like a train that won't stop, or a visitor who never arrives.
